Five years old is the magic age to get to go on the train to Salt Lake with my mom. She brought treats and a new toy for the journey, but they were hardly noticed because of the excitement of the train itself. Getting to walk from car-to-car to go to the bathroom was such an added bonus.
Once at the Gateway, they went to the Kid's Museum and Caleb enjoyed all the stations, especially helping Annie at the "grocery store." He played in the fountain, without getting wet, received a Star Wars sticker book for the ride home, and got to eat at McDonalds. Jaken is counting down the days!

It was a nice surprise to check your blog and not see the post on the wasatch back relay! So do you have a new computer? It's great to see cute fun picts of your adorable family. Hows the new house coming?
that kid is an angel. straight from heaven.
How fun! We have been planning to take our boys on a train trip to SLC as well...probably to temple square to see the Christmas lights. But the main attraction is definitely the train ride. Glad we're not the only ones excited by the train!
